About this grant
These programs incentivize for-profit and non-profit developers to redevelop, rehabilitate, or preserve vacant and underutilized land and buildings in rural Indiana communities. The Regional Redevelopment Tax Credit (RDTC) provides an income tax credit for qualified investments in any of Indiana's 15 economic regions, while the Small Town Opportunity Initiative (STOI) targets downtown areas and unincorporated communities with smaller populations. Both programs require regional and state approval before investment is made.
