About this grant

A capital grant supporting congregations with specific growth plans that have a direct impact on mission, outreach, and/or evangelism. Funded projects may include remodeled worship spaces, community evangelism initiatives, shelters, music ministry, youth and family ministry, immigration centers, education spaces, and innovative hospitality programs. Grants are awarded as a proportion of the total project cost from an annual pool of $300,000.

Eligibility

Must be a congregation within the Metropolitan New York Synod (MNYS)
Must have specific growth plans with direct impact on mission, outreach, and/or evangelism
Congregation and Pastor(s) must regularly submit annual reports and mission commitment forms
Must attend and participate in synod events
Must give a minimum of 10% of income to the synod as mission support
