About this grant

Supports multistate and regional projects that strengthen farming communities in the Northeast USA by addressing quality of life, social, and economic challenges through farmer-driven collaboration and innovation in sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Projects should focus on the interface of nutrition and health and/or people, animals, and pathogens, with an emphasis on social science approaches that drive health outcomes. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, farms, universities, cooperative extension, municipalities, and other organizations working with farmers.
