Grant for Nonprofits and Government Entities Doing Climate Resilience Planning

• Up to $300,000 in grant funding
• Up to two years of project support
• $2 million total available through this RFP

• Description of the community or population served, including characteristics related to historical disinvestment and climate vulnerability
• Approximate number of residents served
• Identification of specific climate vulnerabilities the planning process will address
• Description of project deliverable to be completed by end of grant term
• Explanation of coordination with partners including government agencies
• Project budget
• Submission through the Grants Portal

• Project must occur in the city of Philadelphia, the city of Camden, or the city of Chester
• Project must be focused on enhancing a defined community's resilience to the impacts of climate change
• Project must produce a complete and implementable climate resilience plan by the end of the grant period
• Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, operating under a fiscal sponsor, or a government entity
• Maximum funding request is $300,000 for direct expenses
• Proposals may request up to two years of funding
• Up to 10% of total requested project funds may be allocated for pilot projects or early visible action activities
