Grant for Nonprofit and Tribal Reentry Service Organizations

Supports community-based organizations and tribal governments in providing mentoring and transitional services to people returning to communities from adult correctional facilities who are assessed as moderate to high risk for recidivism. Services may be provided pre- and/or post-release and include educational, vocational, substance use, mental health, housing, and family reunification support. The program aims to reduce recidivism and create safer communities through evidence-based reentry programming.
