About this grant

Supports organizations implementing projects that address important and emerging health care and public health issues in New York State, outside the foundation's three strategic priority areas. Funded projects should have strong potential for replication, scaling, and/or implications for statewide policy and systems change. Awards are one-time, nonrenewable grants for projects typically lasting 12 to 36 months.

Eligibility

Project must address health care or public health issues outside the foundation's three priority areas (Primary Care; Healthy Food, Healthy Lives; Veterans' Health)
Projects must be implemented in New York at local, regional, or statewide level
Grant requests may not exceed $200,000
No general operating or core support requests
No health education and awareness campaigns
No medical, biomedical, or clinical research
No lobbying or capital expenses
No backfilling of lost federal or State funding
