About this grant

Supports established nonprofit organizations in the Greater Milwaukee area with transformative $100,000 grants for capital projects, new programs, or expansions of existing programs. Funded projects must fall within one of five focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment & Revitalization, Health & Wellness, or Family. Recipients are selected through a competitive multi-stage process culminating in a member vote.

How to apply

Letter of Inquiry (LOI) submitted online
Three most recently filed 990 forms
Three years of independently prepared financial statements (audited or reviewed)
Full Proposal (by invitation only, due March 3, 2027)
Site visit (for selected finalists, April 5-14, 2027)
Finalist presentation at The Big Give (June 2, 2027)

Eligibility

Must be a 501(c)(3) organization operating for a minimum of 36 months prior to applying
Must be located in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, or Waukesha County
All grant monies must serve people living in these geographic areas
Total annual revenue must be between $500,000 and $7 million (per 990, Part 1, Line 12) for each of the 3 most recently filed years
Must have three years of independently prepared financial statements (audited or reviewed)
Must expend the full grant amount within 24 months of the award
Corporate and charitable licenses with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions must be current at time of LOI submission
Organizations that received a $100,000 grant from Impact100 Greater Milwaukee may not reapply for three years
