Grant for Watershed Education and Stewardship Nonprofits and Community Groups

Supports community-led projects that engage the public through outreach, education, and stewardship focused on Hudson River Estuary tributary and watershed conservation, restoration, flood resilience, and drinking water source protection. Eligible activities include public education events, stewardship events, riparian buffer plantings, digital content creation, and implementation of watershed management plan actions. Priority is given to locally-led watershed groups and projects engaging underrepresented or environmental justice communities.
