About this grant

Funds innovative projects that create lasting impact for veterans and military members by addressing clearly identified needs with new solutions. Projects must directly benefit multiple veterans and demonstrate a clear plan for implementation and impact. Available to eligible American Legion Auxiliary tax-exempt entities in good standing.

Project narrative describing the identified need and proposed solution
Plan for implementation and impact
20% cost-share documentation or waiver request

Eligibility

Must be an ALA tax-exempt entity in good standing with IRS nonprofit requirements
Must be in compliance with ALA compliance standards
Applicants must contribute at least 20% of the total project cost (waiver available)
Project must directly benefit multiple veterans
Project must be completed within 12 months
