About this grant
Funds built environment projects in rural and suburban Tennessee communities that encourage physical activity, healthier lifestyles, community resilience, and access to health-promoting spaces. Supports both planning activities (stakeholder convenings, assessments, master plans) and implementation activities (tactical urbanism, community gardens, outdoor fitness features, park enhancements). Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, local and state governments, and tribes serving one of Tennessee's 89 eligible rural/suburban counties.
