About this grant
Supports statewide implementation of culturally responsive, community-driven behavioral health prevention strategies in California. Funded projects focus on promoting wellness before behavioral health conditions develop, reducing stigma associated with seeking help, and implementing community-defined evidence practices (CDEPs) that reflect the values, histories, and lived experiences of underserved communities. Projects must aim to prevent suicide, self-harm, and overdose while improving social connection and health equity.
