About this grant

The New Technology Implementation Grant Program (NTIG) provides reimbursement funding to help implement new technologies that reduce emissions of regulated pollutants from stationary sources, oil and gas operations, and electricity storage projects. Eligible projects include those targeting criteria pollutants, hazardous air pollutants, oil and gas emission reductions, and renewable energy storage. Awards cover up to 50% of eligible project costs.

Proposal per project-type-specific instructions (Stationary Source, Oil and Gas, or Electricity Storage)

Eligibility

Applicant must be an individual, state or local government, corporation, or any other legal entity
Project must be located in Texas
Project must implement new technologies that reduce emissions of regulated pollutants
Eligible project types include stationary source emissions reduction, oil and gas emissions reduction, or electricity storage from renewable sources
Applicant must demonstrate ability to operate and maintain grant-funded technology for the duration of the contract, including a five-year operation period
