About this grant

Supports fundamental, applied, and translational research that advances STEM teaching and learning across the human lifespan in formal and informal settings. Projects may focus on any STEM field, including how AI and emerging technologies can enhance STEM education from pre-K through 12 and beyond. The program encourages multidisciplinary collaborations among education researchers, practitioners, and industry partners.

Eligibility

Institutions of Higher Education (two- and four-year, including community colleges) accredited in and having a campus located in the US
Non-profit, non-academic organizations (museums, observatories, research laboratories, professional societies) located in the US directly associated with educational or research activities
For-profit US-based commercial organizations, including small businesses, with strong capabilities in scientific or engineering research or education
State and Local Governments
Federally recognized Tribal Nations
No restrictions on who may serve as PI
No limit on number of proposals per organization or per PI/co-PI
