About this grant

Funds projects in Indiana that develop or implement Watershed Management Plans, install best management practices (BMPs) to reduce nonpoint source pollution, conduct water quality monitoring, and carry out outreach and education programs targeting watershed stakeholders. Projects must address identified water quality impairments in Indiana watersheds and follow federal and state nonpoint source management guidelines.

Partners section with commitment details (Section F)
Outcomes and measures of success (Section G)
WMP checklist appendix (if proposing to update a WMP)

Eligibility

Must submit an approved Notice of Intent (NOI) before the application deadline
Must use official 319 form (State Form 49367/R8) — altered forms will not be reviewed
Must be an eligible organization type as listed in the application
Must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and active SAM registration
Must provide a 40% match of total project cost (20% match for WMP development projects)
Project term cannot exceed 48 months
Grant funds may not be spent to meet permit or rule requirements (CAFOs, MS4s, CFO Rule, etc.)
Must complete quarterly and final reports as a grant requirement
