About this grant

Supports programs that increase access to tennis for underserved youth and individuals with physical or intellectual challenges in South Carolina. Eligible programs include adaptive tennis, wheelchair tennis, school-based programs, and diversity-focused initiatives. Grants help cover instructor salaries, equipment, court fees, and other program costs.

Eligibility

Must be a CTA, city/county Parks and Recreation department, NJTL program, JTT league, Special Olympics program, school, church, civic club, or other community organization
Program must be designed to continue for at least one year after SCTF funding ends
Program must incorporate a pathway for participants to progress into other tennis programs
All applicants must be Net Generation Safe Play Approved
Applications must be received at least 30 days prior to the start of the proposed program
A budget must be submitted with the grant application
Organizations may apply for up to two grants per calendar year for different categories
Grant will not cover Head Instructor salary over $30/hour or Assistant Instructor salary over $20/hour
