About this grant

Supports arts organizations in Maine focused on expanding access to dance, music, theater, visual, and/or traditional arts for underserved geographies or populations with limited access to arts programming. Funding is provided as general support, allowing flexible use for programs, operations, or capital expenses. Organizations must engage the people they serve in the design, delivery, and/or evaluation of their work.

Eligibility

Must be located in Maine (have a Maine address)
Organizational mission or purpose must be focused solely on the arts (dance, music, theater, visual and/or traditional arts)
Most recent completed fiscal or financial year expenses must be below $500,000
Must expand access to the arts for an underserved geography or population
Must engage the people served in the design, delivery, and/or evaluation of the work
Municipalities, K-12 public/private schools, higher education institutions, and faith-based organizations are not eligible
