Supports nonprofit organizations working at the intersection of racial equity and technology across three focus areas: Computing Education, Innovation, and Governance. Funded activities include research, capacity-building, and policy advocacy that improve outcomes for Black, Latine, and Native communities. Projects may be national in scope or focused on California (Oakland), Detroit, MI, or Atlanta, GA.

Eligibility

Must be a registered nonprofit organization exempt under IRC Section 501(c)(3) and/or state tax exemption
Must align with one or more focus areas: Computing Education, Innovation, and/or Governance
Must align with Kapor Foundation's core frameworks (Responsible AI Principles, Responsible AI and Tech Justice Guide for K-12, Equitable Tech Policy)
Must advance inclusive tech pathways nationally or in California/Oakland, Atlanta GA, or Detroit MI
No international giving or services provided exclusively outside the United States
No for-profit or unverifiable tax-exempt organizations
No churches, religious groups, or religious causes
No organizations primarily engaged in partisan advocacy or political campaigning
