About this grant

Funds accredited postsecondary educational institutions and other entities to offer free continuing education training to licensed mental health professionals from communities of color and underrepresented communities who wish to become board-recognized supervisors. Grantees develop and deliver curricula approved by Minnesota mental health licensing boards, enabling trainees to fulfill all requirements for supervision status. The program aims to increase the diversity of mental health supervisors available to serve Minnesota communities.

Project narrative addressing organization overview and proposed program
Project Work Plan (Attachment A)

Applicant Conflict of Interest Disclosure form
Documentation of licensing board approval or in-process approval as a Continuing Education Sponsor
Any required attachments as specified in Section 6 of the RFP

Eligibility

Must be an accredited college, university, or other postsecondary training institution or entity
Must be based in the State of Minnesota
Must offer continuing education courses within the mental health field in Minnesota
Must offer training in Minnesota or remotely to professionals who reside and practice in Minnesota
Curricula must be board-approved coursework meeting educational requirements to attain supervision status
Must verify that all accepted trainees meet eligibility criteria
Must provide all training free of charge to eligible trainees
Grant funds are not transferrable to any other entity
