About this grant
Funds nonprofit and community-based organizations to implement evidence-based interventions and environmental strategies aimed at preventing and delaying substance use (vaping, alcohol, and marijuana) among youth and young adults ages 12–25. Each award supports programming within one of the eight wards of Washington, D.C., with a focus on high-risk populations and community-level prevention infrastructure. Grantees are expected to deliver multiple iterations of evidence-based interventions and at least one environmental strategy per grant year.
