Grant for Nonprofit Entrepreneurial Support Organizations Serving Small Businesses

• Grant award ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 (amount determined by organizational budget size)
• Flexible 12-month grant period beginning January 2027
• Participation in learning and engagement opportunities with peer grantees
• Opportunity to share learnings, challenges, and best practices with cohort

• Online application via SurveyMonkey Apply portal (verified organization account required)
• Audited financial statements for two most recently completed fiscal years (or IRS Form 990s if audits unavailable)
• Current board-approved operating budget showing anticipated revenues and expenses for 2026 and 2027
• Summary of how grant funding would be used to strengthen work and increase impact
• Fiscally sponsored orgs must also submit fiscal sponsor governance materials, director list, financials, Form 990, and signed fiscal sponsorship agreement/MOU

• Must be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity in compliance with applicable requirements
• Must be located in and primarily conducting work within the 50 U.S. states, D.C., or U.S. territories
• Must have an annual operating budget between $1 million and $10 million
• Must directly provide business support services (training, coaching, technical assistance, peer learning, or technology adoption support) to SMBs
• Must have two years of audited financial statements and/or IRS Form 990s
• Fiscally sponsored organizations are eligible if their fiscal sponsor has 501(c)(3) status and all other criteria are met
• Must reach at least 200 SMBs per year to be competitive
