About this grant

Rapid Response grants provide small project-specific funding to help grassroots organizations respond quickly to the changing political climate with unanticipated actions or strategies. Seed Grants offer small general operating support to new and emerging groups developing their community organizing work that may not yet qualify for larger grant programs.

Must be a grassroots organization
Rapid Response: project must respond to changing political climate with unanticipated actions or strategies
Seed Grants: must be a new or emerging group developing community organizing work
Seed Grants: may not yet meet all qualifications for SJF's Giving Project grants
