Grant for Arts Education Nonprofits and Public Schools

• Grant award of up to 30% of direct cash expenses, maximum $15,000
• Funding for projects taking place between September 1, 2027 and August 31, 2028
• Notification of award decisions after July 1, 2027

• Organizational profile
• Narrative questions describing the project and alignment to Delaware Standards for Visual and Performing Arts
• Project budget
• Résumé and/or curriculum vitae for teaching artists
• Letters of support from all project partners
• Evaluation/Assessment tools
• Board list with contact information (if arts organization not applying for General Operating Support)
• IRS 990 for most recently completed fiscal year (if arts organization not applying for General Operating Support)

• Nonprofit arts organizations must be based and chartered in Delaware and eligible to apply for General Operating Support
• Public schools must have an established arts curriculum and staff, Pre-K through 12
• Public school districts and/or consortia of public schools must have an established arts curriculum and staff, Pre-K through 12
• Only one Education Resource application per arts organization or school as lead applicant per year
• Education Resource grants may not be used to meet compliance with state regulations/mandates
• Applications may not be submitted through fiscal agents
• No individual who is a member or relative of a Delaware State Arts Council member or Division staff may compile or submit an application
