About this grant

Funds community-based organizations to address, interrupt, and prevent community violence impacting youth ages 16-24 who are at imminent risk of physical harm or gun violence. Supported activities include street-level outreach with credible messengers, crisis mediation, trauma-informed health support, substance use services, life coaching, and crisis relocation. Projects must be currently operational at the time of application.

Eligibility

Must deliver all grant-funded services to youth in Oregon
Must be a nonprofit organization, faith-based organization, public benefit company, mutual benefit corporation, federally recognized tribe in Oregon, Oregon community college/ESD/public school district/public school, or county/city governmental entity
Must have an active registration with the Oregon Secretary of State's business registry (when applicable)
Project must be Currently Operational at time of application submission
Applicants receiving EMOPI Grant funds from the City of Gresham must identify that and are ineligible unless offering demonstrably different services or serving different youth populations
Must participate in mandatory pre-application conference or view the published recording prior to submission
