About this grant

Provides one-time mini-grants to fund innovative projects that serve senior interests in small Montana communities. Eligible activities include training and education, support services development, and creation or enhancement of ongoing services to meet specific or unmet needs among seniors. Collaborative proposals between public and private sector partners are encouraged.

Must be a governmental agency or 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
Community benefiting from the grant must have a population of fewer than 10,000
One-time-only grant (not for repeat recipients)
Funds must be expended by June 30, 2027
Recipients must provide photos of the completed project
Recipients must account for funds received and submit a report to the Governor's Advisory Council on Aging by year-end
Applicants should demonstrate collaboration with the aging network
