About this grant

Provides annual funding to Maine Episcopal congregations and program groups for international and domestic outreach ministries that help alleviate poverty. Funded projects have included food pantries, community meal programs, medical supply procurement, and support for displaced populations. Both international and domestic poverty-focused efforts are eligible.

Up to $20,000 available for domestic poverty grants annually
Up to $10,000 available for international poverty grants annually
Consultation and guidance from the Grants Committee during proposal development

How to apply

Letter of Intent (LOI) — one-page letter including project summary, needs statement, project activities, outcomes, and proposed budget projection
Full proposal (upon invitation after LOI review)

Eligibility

Must be a Maine congregation or program group within the Episcopal Diocese of Maine
Project must address international or domestic poverty alleviation
Must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) to grants@episcopalmaine.org before full proposal
