Grant for Los Angeles organizations

This grant supports organizations working to make Los Angeles a better place to connect, create, learn, live, and play. The application process is two-stage: first, organizations submit an overview of their mission, structure, and alignment with the funder’s goals; selected applicants are then invited to propose a specific project or initiative for funding. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, government agencies, and for-profit companies serving the Los Angeles region. Grants support a wide range of community-focused initiatives aligned with LA2050’s vision for an equitable and thriving Los Angeles.

• Organizations must align with LA2050’s five goals (connect, create, learn, live, play)
• Applicants must be nonprofits, government agencies, or for-profit companies
• Organizations must serve the Los Angeles region

• Part 1: Organization Screening form (mission, activities, structure, budget, alignment with LA2050 goals)
• Part 2: By invitation, submit a specific program, project, or initiative proposal

• Potential grant funding from the Goldhirsh Foundation and partners
• Opportunity to participate in a two-stage application process
