This grant program provides relief to non-profit animal welfare organizations impacted by natural or other disasters, or those assisting affected organizations. Funding supports medical care, supplies, temporary shelter, transportation, cleanup, and rebuilding efforts for pets affected by disasters. Eligible applicants must be non-profits with an animal welfare mission or a direct relationship with a leading animal welfare organization in disaster relief. Applications require organizational documentation, a narrative, project details, and information on collaboration and impact.
Eligibility requirements
Must be a non-profit organization with an animal welfare mission or a direct relationship with an animal welfare organization leading the disaster relief effort.
Must have been directly affected by a recent disaster or emergency situation and/or be assisting in an affected area.
Must provide intake, medical care, and placement for dogs affected by disaster.
