About this opportunity
This foundation offers one-year grants ranging from $3,000 to $7,500 to support nonprofit organizations and public agencies in select counties in California and Nevada. Funding is available for projects in civic improvement, community and social services, arts and culture, education, workforce development, environmental sustainability, health, rehabilitation, and services for youth and the elderly. Eligible applicants must have 501(c)(3) public charity status or be a government/public agency, and both the agency and program must be located within the Foundation’s geographic scope.

Nonprofit organizations with valid 501(c)(3) status and classified as public charities (not private foundations) under Section 509(a)
Government and public agencies
Agency and program must both be within eligible counties (Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Benito, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tuolumne, Tulare, Washoe, Yolo, Yuba)
Programs must not originate from out-of-area agencies
