About this opportunity
This grant supports outstanding arts initiatives across the United States, enabling organizations to foster artistic heritage, provide arts education, and advance community well-being through the arts. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, government units, and tribal entities that have at least five years of arts programming and a minimum operating budget of $20,000. Funding ranges from $10,000 to $100,000 for most applicants, with special categories for Challenge America and Local Arts Agencies. A 1:1 cost share is required. Units of state or local government
Federally recognized tribal communities or tribes
At least 5 years of arts programming prior to application deadline
Operating budget of at least $20,000 in previous fiscal year
One application per calendar year
Not available for individuals, fiscal sponsors, commercial/for-profit enterprises, or State Arts Agencies and Regional Arts Organizations
