If you're in rural New Hampshire and working with young people, GO-NORTH is looking for programs that expose youth and young adults to healthcare careers. They want to see career exploration, skills-building, mentorship, and clear pathways to education and employment in healthcare, behavioral health, public health, and allied health. Oregon Occupational Safety and Health (Oregon OSHA): Grant for Workplace Safety Education and Training Nonprofits
Oregon OSHA funds development of innovative workplace safety and health education and training programs for Oregon workers. They're looking for proactive strategies that expand occupational safety training services. Any materials you produce become public property and are made available through Oregon OSHA's Resource Center, so this is a good fit if you're comfortable with your work becoming a public resource. California Employment Development Department: Grant for Nonprofits and Organizations Serving Farmworkers
California is funding essential skills training and upskilling for farmworkers to advance within agriculture or transition to other sectors. Funded programs include wrap-around support: health referrals, housing, educational resources, and career and financial coaching. You'll need to show a track record of workforce outcomes and serve farmworkers at a regional level. Award is up to $1 million. Deadline is October 12.
Office for Victims of Crime (OVC): Grant for Victim Service Organizations Serving Human Trafficking Survivors
OVC is funding comprehensive and specialized services for trafficking survivors. Two tracks are available: one for organizations with limited prior experience (capacity-building), and one with a demonstrated history of direct services to survivors. Programs can serve adults or a mix of adults and minors. Award is up to $950,000. Deadline is October 6.
